John Nuetzmann, DO

John Nuetzmann, DO has been a board certified family physician since 2000.  He obtained his BA in psychology and molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He got his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona CA.  He did his internship at Michigan State University and his Family Practice residency at the University of Washington's Tacoma Family Medicine.  He has been practicing in Bellingham since 2002.

Beyond his medical training and experience, Dr. Nuetzmann brings a rather unique background to his practice.  He's been a computer programmer for NASA/NIST, an organic chemist helping to develop the cancer drug Taxol, and a camp counselor.  He is a native of Seattle with a great appreciation for the beauty and diversity of this area.  When not in the office he can often be found running around Lake Padden with his golden retriever or around town with his family.
